Sighting, shading, and lighting

Drawing with pencils and charcoal

Paper types and material selection

🧵 Boro Stitch & Surface Design Workshop

Inspired by the traditional Japanese textile art of Boro—the beauty of patchwork and repair—this workshop blends heritage hand-stitching with creative expression. You’ll begin by crafting a Boro sampler to learn foundational techniques and vocabulary, then move into personal creations like:

Wearable art (patched jeans or jackets)

Textile books

Wall pieces or 3D fiber forms

We'll also explore surface techniques including block printing, stenciling, and image transfer. Perfect for both beginners and seasoned makers!

🌞 Light Impressions: A Cyanotype & Yoga Journey
